The best ever action adventure game out there. If you have played it then you are in for a treat! You just sit in front of your xbox or your pc and the time flies without realising it! I love it!
World of Warcraft
Aaahhh…. Story of my life…! I remember making fun of my friends for playing games in front of the computer all day. Then they just lured me into the fantasy world of World of Warcraft. My friend said: “Hey, I need to run to the supermarket, can you take my rogue to the Innkeeper and then logout?”. That was it. I stealthed my way around npcs, I killed a couple of boars, I went invisible and sapped a few unfriendly characters… Needless to say, I was hooked. Within a couple of days I had already started a trial account and created my first character, a hunter!
I made a Night Elf, strong fearsome creatures that lived in the city of Tedrassil. Before you know it I was out in the plain green fields outside of the great city killing boars, bats and tigers to gain experience and earn levels. Not long after I was on the same level with my friends so we started doing dungeons together, gather gear, kill harder mobs and eventually made our own little special guild. I had quite some fun with my friends, especially for the first two years until The Burning Crusade expansion came out, we were doing all sorts of content together and the game became so addictive. I was spending 8-10 hours a day gaming, me, the person who was mocking the others for doing that!
In the beginning of the next expansion my best friend joined us, his girl friend too. We wanted to experience the end game play a little bit more and joined one of the raiding guilds of the server. And before you know it I was on team speak with 20 strangers from various countries around the world killing raid bosses together and getting the best gear in game! What a blast!
I will never forget my first raid, 10 people on team speak for 7 hours killing the first 8 bosses in Karazhan! And me getting my first ever purple epic piece, a crossbow! By the end of the expansion me and my mate decided to create our own guild, we named it ‘Touch of Hades’. The guild lasted strong for 2-3 years, even when we were busy with real life and had to drop the game to finish off university the guild was on the top 5 raiding guilds of the server for a couple of years before they finally decided to move to a different realm. I took a break from the game and came back a few years later. I skipped ‘Mists of Pandaria’ and ‘Cataclysm’ and started playing again on a newly created character, a shaman, in ‘Warlords of Draenor’. Ever since, I kept at it. More casually, I didn’t want to raid anymore and with the game evolving it allowed me to be able to play a few hours every weekend or when I had some free time. I am still playing it. I met and made a lot of new friends from this game and I am still in touch to this day. I discovered warlock and never played another class ever since. I love them. I am in the top 30 warlocks on my realm currently, highest I managed to get was top 21. I am doing all sorts of content, from a little bit of raiding, to mythic+ dungeons and very high keys, to battlegrounds and PVP, to mount farming. I am a crazy mount collector. Got the highest mount collection achievement and the frostshard infernal to show for it! I can’t wait for dragonflight, the expansion looks amazing. I hope to see you all out there when it releases!

Boy are you in for a treat….. This is by far the best game that came out in the history of games ever! Hands down the best! God of War is an action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was released in April 2018 for the PlayStation 4, with a Microsoft Windows version released in January 2022. The game is the eighth installment in the God of War series, the eighth chronologically, and the sequel to 2010’s God of War III.
Unlike previous games, which were loosely based on Greek mythology, this one particulary is inspired by Norse mythology, with the majority of it set in ancient Scandinavia in the realm of Midgard. For the first time in the series, there are two protagonists: Kratos, the former Greek God of War who remains the only playable character, and his young son, Atreus. Following the death of Kratos’ second wife, Atreus’ mother, they journey to fulfill her request that her ashes be spread at the highest peak of the nine realms. Kratos keeps his troubled past a secret from Atreus, who is unaware of his divine nature. Along their journey, they come into conflict with monsters and gods of the Norse world.
The endless hours I spent on my playstation 4 going through the content these people created is astonishing. An immersive world, plenty of action and enjoyment to be had. If you want to purchase the game for PC you can have a look here.
